In the latest issue of Antenna magazine they paid homage to my home town of Encinitas. They get talking about how the emerging street wear / fashion scene in E-Town is sticking together, creating their own niche in an ever saturated market spanning globally.

It was just a few years ago when I first went into UNIV (Encinitas based concept shop), met Tim and Mirko, and worked with them on a pair of custom kicks for their shop. It's inspiring to see them not only making it work, but blowing up, becoming noticed throughout the industry. They are now closely working with brands like One People Project, Alphanumeric, Vapor Design Studio to name a few, and on their way to taking over San Diego by storm.. Check Robust Flavor, and UNIV to see what's good.

With samples in transit for upcoming Project, screen printing 300 shirts is no easy task. With more than ten different vendors slaving over our new season from China to Compton, we decided to join in on the madness, starting at the ground level.

In anticipation for the new website to launch, we have shown a glimpse into our Spring 09' footwear collection ( viewable through the splash page, which temporarily will only be linking to the blog). The new line will feature 6 styles, consisting of five different designs (shown) and one all blank body. While keeping the original Stampd' LA aesthetic intact, the shoe frame will feature a high top canvas upper, smoothed rubber sole, with leather toe and insole accents. The shoes will be sold throughout the fourth quarter of 08', delivering in early 09'. Stay locked for details.

The other night I stopped by my home girls' spot downtown to check out some of their up n coming work and talk about a future party in Japan. Vanessa and MaryLouise, the girls behind the Posso the Spat, the up and coming spat and luggage line, are taking LA by storm. Check em.

My good friend, Aaron (Cuker Design), came up the other day to talk about what we have in store for the new Stampd' LA site. After a few hours of grinding out ideas and working with the concept, Aaron thought it'd be a good idea to stretch out the rest of the night.

Development for a future bag division of Stampd' LA is in the works. While keeping the over all concept basic, consisting of raw canvas and bright accents, we're going to carry an over sized focus throughout.
