Eric ( UNIF ) and I rolled to Box 8 studio yesterday to check out their new venue, a possible spot for the upcoming UNIF fashion show.. One of the coolest loft spaces I've seen down town, not to mention the huge enclosed back yard along with photo cave.. Check it.

Dim Mak recently revamped their website now offering a few different blogs along with places to buy CD's as well as clothes. They covered the shoes that we made for Aoki, in one of their recent posts. Stay tuned for the Popdefect happening March 22nd in Downtown LA, featuring designs by Dim Mak Collection, JoyRich, Green Apple Tree and Stampd' LA..

Keeping it going, I'm doing another in store this Saturday at Zschoche in Newport (actually Balboa island) in collaboration with TOMS. Come early last week I was booked with orders within the first hour. Oh yea and Friday ( the night before), come stop by Holly's, we're doing a UNIF celebration.

Cottrell and I rolled out to support Rico and his crew at UC Riverside last Saturday night.. Along with him we saw Mos Def, La Riots, Girl Talk, but left before the Clipse and Moby... As usual Afrobots put it down, now they're off to Canada to tour with M.I.A.'s Dj.. Be on the look for the new Afrobots shoe (launching soon. !!), Globe Patrol ( Rico's new show on Current TV), and the take over..

Yesterday was the Tom's shoes in store event at the Active in Westwood. I came out towards the end of the day to throw down on a few pairs of TOM's and watch the RVCA team. During the night event Ewok, Revok, Dmote, and Retna did a live instillation as well as signed posters, shirts and shoes.. Without the queso dip and the ride from Cottrell I don't think I would have been able to survive the day, Mos Def / Afrobots the night before did me in..

Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 ad campaign.. Pretty dope, even though she isn't wearing anything from the womans collection.

Sunday I'm doing a live custom shoe event at the Active in Westwood. Again I'm working with my good friends at Tom's.. Later in the evening RVCA is bringing in a few of their artists to do a live mural, as well as have a party.. The event is open to the public so roll through!!..

These kids rolled through Joy Rich the other day to get hooked with some fresh gear from Tom, and Chris was able to shoot them in front of the Stampd' LA window..

While out in Vegas I was able to meet up with DJ Jus Ske,? hooking him our collabo shoe we are about to launch.. Here's Jus rockin the kicks before his set at the Palms that night.. Catch these on the customizer within a few days as well as at Fred Segal's Conveyor store in Santa Monica!

Still feeling the aftermath of Vegas, I picked through my iphoto to post a few more pics from the trip. It was one of the best times I've had out there... Thanks to all that were a part of the madness.. (I'll try and get a little less grain in future pics)

Yesterday was the first day of Pool, and United.. We made it after pulling an all nighter Monday, getting into Vegas around 9pm straight to United for settup then to dinner at 4am.. The pics are from Pool yesterday, a little delirious but dialed in.. See you at Tao tonight..

Last night was the party featuring Fred Segal's Conveyor X PF Flyer shoe launch.. While Scott and the homies at Conveyor displayed their limited (only 14 pairs made) kick, PF Flyer's also debuted their new Bob Cousy collaboration shoe.

Only offered in a low top Pf Flyer's really killed it on this one, one of the only shoes I would wear from their line.. I'm gonna have to give it to Conveyor for the color ways on their shoe though. The teal stripe contrasted with dark gray heavy canvas made for a really classic shoe.. I was surprised PF didn't want to go with a larger run of these..

Between Unif, Stampd' LA, and voting as an independent I feel like i haven't had a second for anything.. No time to eat, blog, dance, paint, blog, bbm, design, blog, sleep, or even blog about my own blog.. Hopefully in the coming days/weeks things will change.. Stay on the look for the new Afrobots collabo kick dropping soon!

Another collaboration shoe is about to launch..! This time with New York based label Danucht ( pronounced "the new s!#t ") owned by DJ Jus Ske..

Recently Jus has joined forces with Pharrel Williams and Star Trak as the DJ for Pharrel's new album "In My Mind," promo tour. After blazing a trail through Europe and Asia, and guest DJ? ing several Louis Vuitton store openings along the way Jus landed back in the U.S. and continued on the tour grind. Upon his return he has made appearances with Pharrel on "The Tonight Show with David Letterman," "MTV's TRL," "The American Music Awards," and "The Billboard Awards."

Peep the shoe on the customizer later this week with one of my favorite designs yet, the Timberland boot featuring the New Yorkers with attitude logo. Stay on the look for Jus Ske in coming months rocking our new kick!!
