Haunted Hill
Last night was our 'Pre' Halloween party fully equipped with black Japanese guys, 1920's drunks, and Rico in a silver latex space suit.. Amazingness...
Sometimes you're focused working on the next collection of designs and a big truck with a big dude drop off a big load of big boxes..
It's weird how the smallest guys always gets stuck with the heaviest sh!t. (For the record, ya that's one of those stronget man boulders, idk why it was in with all the clothes, but no biggie)
Yari was able to get a few of his homies to lend a hand.
Big (or Fat) hands grip boulders like you wouldn't believe..
But, like they say in the Islands
BOXES
they hold things.. And, in this case our good production team across the Pacific sent us a few initial shots of what to expect for our packaging. In designing this collection I wanted to make sure that emphasis was always on the shoes, making sure nothing drew attention in other directions. I've always been a firm believer of less is more and in this 'case' the point was made.
Commercially UNIFied
Yesterday we shot Eric's UNIF commercial that will be hitting the web hard come November.. Ethan, directing the likes of Too Short, T-Pain, Pac Division amongst others,? led the herd into something of a college football rally. Stay tuned for the Stampd' LA stop motion film we will be shooting with Ethan in the weeks to come..
Mixup
Over the past few week things have been in n out, down n up, and anything up ordinary.
Without these simple life necessities nothing would work.
This place has seen a lot of face lately.
Dime a dozen
"My rolemodels are the hustlers" Thank you Philly and Kelly for filling me in..

Fashion Week in LA began last weekend, so last night we went out to support our boy Devon who does Fremont.
Somehow ending up at a Foo Fighters concert.
100 AND 1
ways to stick up. Here our good homie Gregg out of Central Cali, does a good job of covering everything he owns in Stampd' LA stickers. Learn by doing..
Movement
We're currently under construction on our current site, gearing up for our launch in January. Look forward to an in depth media section featuring video shorts, and lengthy picture libraries from around the globe, shoe galleries, money trees, and a virtual wardrobe stylist made of gold.
Setup
LA Market week is hitting the showrooms downtown Thursday. We're showing out of Connected's penthouse suite. Today, just dialin' it in..
Some familiar neighbors, Maui and Sons Vintage Collection. Yes, they're still around, and killing it harder than ever (internationally).
View from the top.
Released
Here we get a bit closer to the people involved in our most recent shoot. All of who we shot for the first collection are our friends who keep LA cool. Stay on the look for them in the months/years to come..
Brook and Jack, who are J*Davey.

We've got big packages
The premise of the Spring 09' collection was to take an array of primary and neon colors, mix n' match both catchy and simplistic graphics, and feature them through a basic canvas silhouette. Packaging has always been something that I've obsessed over, and for the the first collection we drew inspiration from the more minimal side of the shoe for the box and bag. Here's a sneak into a cotton shoe bag that will keep your Stampd' LA's warm. More packaging details to come..
Blue Bottle
A modern coffee experience served through artisan microroasting and organic coffees. Blue Bottle Coffee Co., one of the cooler cafe's I've been to in the bay where a sense of time stands still as your perfect cup is brewed.
The Bayd
Jason and I made it to SF last night with blurred vision and sleep deprivation, but we're here.
We hit a true milestone in his car and I was blessed with the honor of actually driving while it happened. We had a small celebration, I pounded a redbull and he described it.
First stop, Acrimony
Harputs / Harputs Market. An amazing and truly inspiring destination in SF. Harputs; an archive of some the most unique 80's deadstock, and consorted Adidas I've ever seen. Harputs Market; contemporary strong hold featuring lines like Y3, Margiela, Fremont, to name a few.. We were able to spend some time with Bootsy and Gus, two brothers who have been staying true to their initial beliefs of what a retail shop should be since the late 70's. Here are a few shots of Harputs.
Tony a soldier to the game.
An Armenian afternoon snack.
Jeremy Scott X Adidas
I'm always down for new and unusual collabs, coming from Jeremy Scott you know it's going to be forward. I could never rock these, but points for once again thinking outside of the shoe box.
Cali Burritos, Two Dollar Drinks
After the long haul, nothing like stopping for a quick bite at a Mexican dive deep in University Heights.
Vince (FaceValue) turned us on and we're hooked. By the way, if you haven't checked out his store in the 'Little Italy' district of San Diego's growing downtown, its a necessary stop and shop. Carrying a few of the more hard to find lines in So Cal, their spot comes fully equipped with magnetic t-shirt displays, free to the public red bulls (only if your not homeless and buy something) and a shoe wall that will leave your wallet empty.. Check his Blog for new releases.
After Jason had a four hour non-stop, it was time for a lil R & D.
Mike (Something Ill Studios) stopped in for a few tacos and dropped us some dope David Flores wheat pastes' he's lacing SD in..
Hittn' the Streets
After an all night stint at Kinko's, up early and under the gun of Jason's non stop chatter box.
Costa Mesa, Carve / Blends
Oceanside, Grandeur

Solana Beach, Cuker Design Studio, new web dreams in the works...
We're Back..
After a much anticipated hiatus from the shoe game, we reintroduce Stampd' LA as a footwear label.
This silhouette features an all canvas upper, leather toe cap, smooth vulcanized out sole, and leather insole. The Spring 09 collection is being release in six styles, and limited to 1000 pairs per style. Stay tuned for detailed product shots and insight into each design.
For now, a sneak peak into our photo shoot? featuring the guys of LOVA, who get down with Stampd' LA..
