The Jordan being one our most sought after designs has now kept me up late for the past three weeks.. Here are a few pairs almost ready for their trip in the mail..

This past weekend we stopped by both the Agenda and ASR shows.. One of the documented highlights, a lunch with Tom and Cottrell ( JoyRich), and Aaron (Cuker Design).. The shows, just more of the same, and for some reason ASR was really old this year, maybe the whole underage drinking thing hasn't really worked out for them in the past.. HA

Friday night, another successful gathering.. Drew and Jason danced together, Eric made a girl get really awkward, Cottrell got his car towed, and I forced Tom to go running on the beach at like 4am.. Good times like always!!

The Fake Rich homies were in Joy Rich the other night when i stopped by.. They're starting an online magazine / fashion site, and covered Joy Rich as well as Stampd' LA, UNIF, and LICHTENBURG. Here are a few shots from their blog, as well as a link.. HOLLA!

The latest issue of URB just hit newsstands featuring Rico, of Afrobots in a full page spread rocking the Stampd' LA Jordan's (I swear, haha) at least you can peep the label.. Also, thanks to the collective help of Raymond, Leila, an Paul they did another little Stampd' LA shout out along with Sole Junkies write up.. If you have the copy check out some other homies.. Another fun filled Sunday passed by.. Thank god the chargers won (I mean obviously they won) because if they didn't I don't know if I would have the motivation to write this ...

But anyways, Rico (Afrobots) and I hit up Saddle ranch for a little bfast then back to the pad for a meeting with Danny (Once Upon A Time).. Danny's Once Upon A Time brand is really killin it, with the likes of Jay Z, Jim Jones, and TI (to name a few) rockin it regularly..

We headed down to Ron Herman, Crooks and Castles then to the Sunglass spot next to The Hundreds to get a bit of inspiration for his new sunglass line Illesteva (in which I'm designing, catch them dropping Summer 08')..

Ending the afternoon with an amazing root beer float courtesy of Eric (UNIF), and a quick what up to the homies at Joy Rich... nuff talking take a peek..

While out at 7 a few weeks ago we ran into this guy and he was obsessed with our stickers.. He ended up getting a little aggressive about it..

One of our artists at Stampd' LA, comes from the talent of Greg Cali.. We recently received an order asking for The Strokes album covers on both sided of the chucks.. Something I personally wouldn't have designed, but we like to take on things out of the ordinary.. Cali and I collaborated on these kicks and the end result came out dope..

Even though Greg can throw down on a pair of Stampd' LA' s his real calling is in fine art.. While at his pad I took a few picks of a few things he had laying around, but to get a real feel for his work/talent check out his site at thecalilife.com
